Ursa is a sweet, loyal family member and companion. A happy girl, Ursa is affectionate, energetic, playful, and very smart. Ursa approaches everything with gusto, even cuddling! Ursa is my best lap schnauzer and a superb pillow for weekend mornings sleeping late.

Ursa excelled as a show dog in the conformation ring. Just over 18inches and very square, Ursa is a moderate and compact bitch. One could not ask for a better hard coat. Ursa has beautiful dark almond eyes, balanced, true movement, short back, with wonderful topline and tailset, lovely front and rear angulation, solid bone and substance, and a stunning head with gorgeous muzzle length and true, alert schnauzer expression.

Ursa and I were very fortunate when Maureen, a great standard schnauzer lover, came along and offered a wonderful retirement home to Ursa. Ursa has had a busy and fun life with Maureen, including lots of runs at the beach, dog park romps, vacations, as well as working on obedience. Agility may even be in her future.
