| Dinsdale Chimera Mirari "Mira" |
I fell in love with Mira when she was only 4 weeks old. Not only was Mira incredibly cute, she was a very promising, square, robust pup from a pedigree of National Schnauzer Specialty and All-Breed Best in Show winning dogs. I was thrilled when her breeder, Lori Elvin of Canada's Dinsdale Standard Schnauzers, agreed to co-own Mira with me and let Mira reside with me at Chimera. As a pup, Mira was incredibly cute and her relaxed personality made her great to be around and very easy to raise. As an adult, Mira is an affectionate, cuddly, loyal, laid-back schnauzer. She has wonderful rear angles, short back, long neck, pretty head, a nice coat and lovely, true movement with strong reach and drive. When she hit the show ring in 2005, Mira had a blast and lived up to her distinguished pedigree by quickly earning her AKC championship.

Mira loves to cuddle. Mira believes she deserves a lot of cuddling.
Mira has four lovely offspring competing in conformation and/or performance events.

This is Mira's gorgeous black son, Eli, aka Canadian Champion Dinsdale-Chimera Bras d'Or, CGN, PCD, St.John's Ambulance Therapy Dog
As smart as he is beautiful, Eli has already excelled in obedience and has earned St. John's Ambulance Therapy Dog status, a testiment to his excellent temperament and training by owner Catherine Noseworthy.

This is Mira's beautiful, black daughter, Dinsdale-Chimera Blackberry, "Hilde."
Hilde is co-owned by Mira's breeder, Lori Elvin, and Patti Cumberland. We are looking forward to seeing how Hilde does in the show ring this summer & seeing how judges like this lovely black standard schnauzer.
